The State Archives was established in 1955 and is located in the modern building designed by Francioni in 1978. It is a place frequented by those who need to consult maps, archive documents, not always easy to read and use.

The warehouses have the charm of other libraries: they are full of folded, rolled up papers. For the tour of the Pesaro printing houses, the documents were essential to identify the stages, the locations of the shops and homes.

All the published magazines you have found in this walkscape, except “La Gazzetta”, also come from the archives. It is a place to discover, looking for precise points marked on maps with street names that are sometimes no longer recognizable, which then help us lose ourselves in stories with multiple intertwinings.
